In 2025, I, Blair Latos, have challenged myself to create 365 paintings over the course of the year. This project is more than an artistic pursuit — it’s a celebration of pushing boundaries, storytelling, and embracing life’s struggles and triumphs.

As the artist behind At The Summit Arts, my work is deeply rooted in the outdoors, particularly in my home, the Sierra, and the unforgettable journeys I have taken there. Each painting will reflect an experience, a goal, or a dream — whether it’s mine or another’s — telling stories of epic mountain traverses, a moment of stillness under the sky, and the drive to climb higher in both art and life.

This challenge is my way of stepping into the unknown and showing what’s possible when we commit to our passions. While some days will bring bursts of creativity, others will demand discipline and perseverance — just like summiting a peak. The result will be a year-long collection that tells a story of adventure, resilience, and growth.

Follow this Journey

Each week, I’ll update this gallery with images of the paintings created during the week. These updates will go live every Sunday, alongside an Etsy shop update where you can purchase the original pieces. Through this, I hope to inspire you to dream bigger and pursue your own summits.

I’m thrilled to partner with fellow adventurers, brands, artists, and organizations who share a passion for the outdoors and creation. As part of my project, throughout the year I am offering:

• Art Classes: Attend in-person and online classes where I teach techniques, styles, and content featured in my 365 paintings.

• En Plein Aire Painting Days: Come out and enjoy plein air painting sessions with me in beautiful locations. I will announce these free meet-ups on my instagram and newsletter throughout the year. I will be hosting in the following states: CA, NV, HI, NE, ID, WA, WY, UT, and AZ.

• Make Your Story A Part of “Brushstrokes Beyond Limits”: Make a difference by sharing your experiences. You can commission a painting of your favorite memory, place, or person and see it appear here in the collection. You can also just send me inspiration that you think I should explore.

• Collaborations: Partner with me by sponsoring paintings in which I translate your company’s values, products, and services into an amazing piece of art that we can hang in your work space or auction for charity.
